Create Thumbnails and Change Settings

4. This brings us to the Output File Options screen.  I have changed several settings, and there are some more features on this screen:

At the top next to the preview window, we can now see the list of files that we selected for processing.  You can see that there are 15 files in the list, and this works like the other window - by clicking on a file name it is displayed in the Preview Window.  I have also selected a different directory for the thumbnails - the SampleThumbs folder I created earlier.  I typed in a new Output File Qualifier of ThmOf, and I changed the Output File Naming Option to 'Qualifier as Prefix with File Name'.  This will create thumbnails with the names:  ThmOfbarcelon01.jpg, ThmOfbarcelon02.jpg, ThmOfbarcelon03.jpg, ThmOfbm.jpg, etc.  This makes it convenient in the event that you want to work with the Thumbnails as a group (like delete them or move them).

The two slender buttons below the right hand pane will change the view to show all files or just graphics files.  You can see that there are no graphics files in the SampleThumbs folder (I just created it a minute ago).  You could use this to check for files so you don't overwrite something important, or look for html (web pages).  Also, you can double-click on a file in this pane, and it will launch the associated application to open it.

5. That's all the changes on this screen, so as usual click the Next button.
