('Cause Nikki said I should)
Batch thumbs can basically do four different things with graphics images:
Make a thumbnail size version of the originals
Convert the originals from one file format to another file format (it makes a copy of the originals)
Copy files (just make a duplicate of the originals)
Rename files - changes the name of the originals
B.T. can operate on several files, but they must all be in the same folder.
NOTE - These tutorials are based on version 1.5 of Batch Thumbs. You can download a copy of Batch Thumbs version 1.6 at:
http://harmware.net/bin/BThumbs.zip
Also, if you'd like to download the Sample Images I used for the tutorials you are certainly welcome to do so. However, the zip file size is a little over 4 Mb. There are 28 images ranging from large to small, with bmp, gif, jpg, and emf files included. They're at:

When the operation is to create thumbnails, Batch Thumbs will also create some primitive HTML (web pages) so you can view the thumbnails and the original images. Part of these tutorials will be devoted to the HTML part of the program, because it has several different options.
